Behind the drawing
Being a voracious reader, I too was sometimes Caught! reading a book inside of my school book. In this case, I chose to render a comic book, but with the theme of a middle eastern desert since it was 1991 and the Gulf War had just started as I was finishing the piece. Of course, the initials carved in the desk have a meaning for me too.
